About Back on Track

Our mission is to provide financial assistance for injured motorcycle racers and their families when a racing injury/accident occurs. As an IRS approved non-profit 501(c)(3), we accept tax-deductible donations from fans, fellow riders and corporate sponsors. This mission is primarily accomplished by donations, sales of charity merchandise and raffles of donated items through our website or auctions. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Founding member of Rookies of 79 Charity. Professional Flattrack motorcycle racer from 1977 until 1999 with occasional National participation through 2019.

Tom’s racing career starting in 1968 finding early success with track championships. Turning professional at the age of 16, Tom was the number one Novice and Junior in Ohio, being inducted into the Ohio Motorsports Hall of Fame.

I started riding mini-bikes at age 10 and racing at 11 years old. I turned pro in 1975 at age 16 and raced professionally until 1982.
